Who we are
What we do
The Delaware Journal of Corporate Law is a student-edited publication established in 1975 at Widener University Delaware Law School as a medium to keep business-law practitioners abreast of critical issues within their areas of expertise.
What we publish
The Journal produces three issues per volume in Delaware, the heart of American corporate activity, and is in a unique position to maintain a corporate law focus. However, the scope of our published content remains broad.
We publish articles that fall within the scope of the American Bar Association’s Section of Business Law, including:
Professional Responsibility |
Environmental Controls |
Our readers benefit from exposure to myriad areas of developing law. In addition to Notes and Comments, we publish unpublished Delaware Court of Chancery decisions.
A tradition of excellence
We are nationally and locally renowned for attracting legal experts. Our published content is routinely cited and relied upon by authors and judges. For example, the Delaware Supreme Court and Delaware Court of Chancery have cited to Journal articles in decisions. See, e.g., North River Ins. Co. v. Mine Safety Appliances Co., C.A. No. 8456-VCG, at *30 n.75 (Del. Nov. 8, 2014) (citing E. Micheletti & J. Parker, Multi-Jurisdictional Litigation: Who Caused This Problem, and Can It Be Fixed? 37 Del. J. Corp. L., 1 (2012)).
